One of the things that makes SUPWell Ireland truly special is our mobility. With our fully equipped SUP trailer, we can bring the boards, gear, and grounding energy to a wide variety of locations across Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands and beyond.

We’re not tied to one fixed venue—nature is our studio, our sanctuary, and our setting. From the calm waters of Lough Ennell to peaceful stretches of the Royal Canal, we go where the wild invites us—and where you want to meet it.

Find Your Way to the Water

Most of our SUP sessions launch from Tudenham Shore, Lough Ennell, just outside Mullingar, County Westmeath. This peaceful lakeside location offers calm waters, natural beauty, and easy access from nearby towns and cities.

Near Lis Café, 10 minutes from Mullingar Town Centre

02. Driving Directions

From Mullingar: Approx. 10 mins
From Athlone: Approx. 35 mins
From Dublin: Approx. 1 hr 15 mins
Free parking available at Tudenham car park
Look out for the SUPWell trailer and your instructor on arrival!

03. Public Transport

Regular trains run to Mullingar from Dublin and Galway. From Mullingar, you can reach Tudenham Shore by taxi (10 minutes) or by bike if you’re feeling adventurous!

04. Windy Weather Plan

If conditions at Tudenham are not suitable, we’ll relocate to a more sheltered launch point, most often a stretch of the Royal Canal nearby. We’ll always email or text you the day before with any location changes and full directions.

The combination of a super informative quick SUP lesson followed by a gentle yoga flow with Caroline on the boards while the sun set and then ending with an enchanting sound bath with Michaela while the full moon beamed upon our faces was just spellbinding.

Highly recommend the Intro class for those who want to build their skills. This was two hours so well spent! I joined the class having only sat on a paddle board but was confident standing and paddling within two hours. The rescue practice was also excellent to build confidence. Caroline was so patient and we had great fun along the way.

I also had the chance to take part in the SUP Yoga and Sauna on an evening with the perfect sunset over Lough Ennell. Loved it!

Loved my first ever SUP and sound bath. So much fun. Met loads of lovely welcoming people so if you happen to be afraid to go alone don’t be! Caroline is so welcoming as are all the other people in the group. Great demonstration before hand. Really felt there was a lot of support and can’t wait to go back again!

The most magical experience with a stunning sunset. Caroline was phenomenal, so knowledgeable, a fantastic teacher and made everyone feel calm & confident. All equipment was provided – sup, paddle, wetsuit, boots, dry bag, lights, life jacket, headtorch, literally just turn up & go. We laughed, we felt connected with nature, it was perfect!
